Naoussa Paros Beaches
During your stay in the Senia Hotel in Naoussa Paros, we recommend visiting the nearby beaches. Consult your map of Paros for their location. The closest beach is Piperi, which is located a mere 50 meters from the hotel. You can be on Agii Anargyri in a few minutes, while the Paros beaches of Santa Maria and Laggeri, two of the most popular on the island, are just a little further east of Agii Anargyri. On the west of Naoussa Town is the splendid Kolymbithres Beach, well-known for its unique rock formations. Close to Kolymbithres Beach is another fabulous beach, Monastiri Beach.
After having visited the beaches near Naoussa, we suggest going to the beaches that are located further away. On the eastern coast, there is Chrysi Akti, Logaras, Piso Livadi, and Pounta, while on the western coast you will come across Krios, Agia Irini, and Agios Fokas. On the southern shore of Paros Island, you can swim at the marvellous beaches of Platia Ammos and Alyki.
Paros Sightseeing
While in Paros, you should spend a day touring Naoussa. A stroll along the harbour front, in the picturesque alleyways and to the old windmills is a must. The Venetian Castle ruins and the Historical Museum are worth visiting, as is the Mycenaean Acropolis in Kolimpithres, located just a couple of kilometres from Naoussa Town.
Parikia, the capital of the island, is a superb place for sightseeing. Visit the Church of Ekatodapyliani and admire the magnificent architecture and religious décor. If you are an archaeology buff, the sites of Ancient Delion, the ruins of the Asklipio, the ancient sanctuaries, the graveyards, the castle and the Ancient Settlement of Kastrovouni, will amaze you.
On your map of Paros, you can locate other areas which also provide wonderful sightseeing, such as the Butterfly Valley in Psycopiana and the Marble Church of Agia Triada in the traditional settlement of Lefkes.
Naoussa Nightlife
If you are keen on nightlife, Naoussa is the perfect place. A variety of nightlife venues is available, such as island-style tavernas and ouzeries, as well as modern bars and clubs, most of which are housed in old whitewashed buildings. Most of the bars and clubs stay open until very late at night.
